There are so many diet pills out there and all claim to be the "Miracle Diet Pill". Remeber that pills do not replace diet and exercise no matter what anyone says.

Now as far as how they work, some Diet pills will increase your heart rate and basal metabolism and gives you more energy in work outs, which can be quite effective in weight loss. Some pills have green tea, which seems to have an effect on the metabolism and also slows fat production. Some negative effects are change in your metabolism and your health in general.

So you can get a better workout from pills, can possible burn a few more calories, and possible slow fat production, but you also chance possible heart risks that are associated with some of these pills.

All pills are different so it's difficult to categorize them altogether. Just make sure you use your best judgement and know the risks before trying any diet pill.
